News for the week of August 16th

Program notes for the week of Aug. 16th:

First, congratulations to all the girls that made both the Varsity and JV teams this year.  Now the real work begins as the team drives towards a SWC championship and a top 20 ranking in the Cleveland area.  We will have rosters posted on our site this week.

Secondly, keep a close eye on the coaches schedule as there are two-a-days scheduled all week culminating with the Lorain County Showcase on Saturday 8/21.

Third, remember that a Shorepals meeting is scheduled for Tuesday Aug. 17th at 7:00 p.m. at the Old Firehouse at the corner of Rt. 83 & Lake Rd.

The schedule for the rest of August is as follows:

 August 17, 2010 Shorepals Mtg. - 7:00 p.m. @ Old Firehouse - corner of Rt. 83 & Lake Rd.

August 21, 2010 Lorain County Preview

August 23, 2010 1st Game at Solon - JV 5:00 p.m. Varsity 7:00 p.m.

August 25, 2010 2nd game at home vs. Berea - JV 5:00 p.m. Varsity 7:00 p.m.

August 28,2010 3rd game at Avon - JV 5:00 p.m. Varsity 7:00 p.m.

Fourth, please consider joining the ALHS Booster club.  You can join for as little as $15.  We would like to get 100% membership this year and if we do, then the girls will receive a pizza party courtesy of the Boosters.
 
Fifth, keep pushing for ads for the Shoregal Yearbook.  We would like to wrap up selling by 8/22.
 
Sixth, look for Mario Q's e-mail regarding concession stand assignments this year.
