Mattress Fundraiser:
In conjunction with the Boys program, we will be holding a joint mattress sale fundraiser on Sat. May 3rd from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Avon lake HS. Pass the word to friends and family! Coach Daegen sent an e-mail with more details to players & parents this week.
Alumni Game:
Tentative date for the Alumni Game & Picnic is Saturday July 12th. More details on location and times to follow, but mark your calendars now for an afternoon of soccer, food, & fellowship!

Returning Players Meeting:
As a reminder, there is a meeting schedule for all returning players this week on Wednesday March 19th at 3:00 pm in Room 114 at the high school. Last season will be reviewed along with expectations for the upcoming season. All returning players should be in attendance.

Once again this year we have put together a relatively comprehensive guide regarding what is involved in college soccer and how to prepare to play at the next level. This year's schedule provides a variety of competition including two schools from the Toledo area in Oregon Clay and Sylvania Northview; the 4 new members of the SWC in 2015 in Avon, Lakewood, Midview & North Royalton; the current SWC teams; and two private schools in Padua & St. Joe's. It looks to be a schedule that we can be very competitive with.

Scholarship Reminder:
A reminder about the Gino Strippoli Memorial Scholarship which is valued at $1,000. Applications for this scholarship are part of the Common Scholarship Application process and are available in the Guidance office at ALHS. Deadline is 2/28/14 at 3:00 p.m.

A reminder about the Gino Strippoli Memorial Scholarship which is valued at $1,000. Applications for this scholarship are part of the Common Scholarship Application process and are available in the Guidance office at ALHS. Deadline is 2/28/14 at 3:00 p.m.
2014 Schedule:
Please find below the schedule for the 2014 season. There may still be some changes, but this will be pretty much what to expect. This year's schedule provides a variety of competition including two schools from the Toledo area in Oregan Clay and Sylvania Northview; the 4 new members of the SWC in 2015 in Avon, Lakewood, Midview & North Royalton; the current SWC teams; and two private schools Padua & St. Joe's. It looks to be a schedule that we can be very competitive with.
