Soccer Camp Info.
From time to time I will post info. regarding soccer camps that girls may be interested in attending. The Unviversity of Akron has a player ID coming up as follows:
The Women's Soccer coaching staff will put on a 1 day camp that is open to 8th graders and High School girl soccer players who have an interest in playing collegiate soccer. This is a great way to get advanced training, meet the coaching staff and see the facilities.
The camp will be held March 27, 2011 in the Stiles Athletic Field House from 8:30am to 12Noon. All The University coaching staff will be there to run the camp. The Cost is $45. To sign up and see more information go to http://www.ladyzipssoccer.com/
MLS season begins:
The MLS season opens up on Tuesday March 15th with a 9:30 p.m. game which pits the Los Angeles Galaxy vs. the Seattle Sounders. The Galaxy feature Landon Donovan and David Beckham. Seattle has probably the best crowd atmosphere in the MLS and features Steve Zakuani who is a former University of Akron player. Should be a great game to kick off the season.
