Shorepals Meeting:
The next meeting of the Shorepals will be held on Tuesday Aug. 16th at 7:00 p.m. at the Old Firehouse at the corner of Lake Rd. & Rt. 83. We will be making our final preparations for the upcoming season.

 New Website:
Just a reminder that our new website is up & running. Check it out at:

http://www.alshoregalsoccer.org/

I will be adding both content and improving the appearance over the next few months. Take a look and give me your suggestions on what you might like to see on the site. We will continue with both the Blog page and the Website as each offers unique functionality to communicate the news of our program.

Car Stickers:
It is that time of year again to show your support for our Shoregal soccer team by adorning your vehicle with one of our spiffy window stickers.  The cost is a mere $3.00 for one sticker or 2 for $5.00.  We will be selling them at games and I will also keep a supply on my porch in the infamous gray tub.

 Soccer Site of the Week:
This week we will highlight another site that explains the rules of soccer. This week's featured site is:

http://www.asktheref.com/

This is a site where questions about soccer rules are answered by actual soccer refs.  It is interesting and you can learn a lot.

Cudos Corner:
This week we would like to recognize and thank Vic Strimbu for taking the player pictures we will use in our Shoregal yearbook and Jim Coyne who is once again heading up the yearbook and working hard to bring in that ad revenue.
