Calendar for this Week:
Well it's finally here - the start of the season.  As far as I know the schedule is as follows:

Monday - Tryouts - 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. & 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. @ Troy

Tuesday - Tryouts - 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. & 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. @ Troy

Weds. - Tryouts - 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. & 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. @ Troy

Thurs. - to be determined

Friday - Picture Day at 9:45 a.m. at the High School & then at 4:00 p.m. depart for teambuilding event

Shorepals Meeting:
The next Shorepals meeting is scheduled for Tuesday August 14th at 7:00 p.m. at the Old Firehouse which is at the corner of Lake Rd. and Rt. 83.  We will be discussing the Shoregal Yearbook and finalizing plans for the season.  Hope to see you there!


Olympic Soccer:
Since last week the US women have continued rolling along undefeated (4-0) and are now in the semifinals vs. Canada.  The game is on Mon. 8/6 at 2:45 p.m.  If they win on Mon. then the final is on Thurs. 8/9 vs. either France or Japan. I believe most of these games are being televised on channel 323 in Avon Lake. Go to www.london2012.com for a more exact listing.
