All Time Records:For a little fun and to satisfy some curiosity, over the next several weeks we will present our all time record against various opponents.

Midpark    17 wins - 2 losses - 3 ties - This is our best record versus any opponent, sorry to see them close after this season.

Berea   11-4-1 - another team against which we have had great success, but they are going to be much tougher next next year when they combine with Midpark.

Bay   2-16-4 - it took us until 2005 which was the 13th year of the program to beat these guys and since 2005 our record against them is 2-1-2.  Unfortunately, they haven't been on the schedule in the last three years - great neighborhood rivalry.

District Update:
This past Saturday, Westlake claimed the District championship with a 1-0 victory over North Olmsted in an all SWC final.  After we lost in a shootout to NO, they went on to spring a huge upset over Magnificat 1-0.  Westlake got to the final by beating Avon 2-1 and Amherst 3-1.

Westlake will now move on to play Medina in a Regional semifinal on Tues. 10/30 at Rocky River HS at 7:00 p.m. for those who might want to go.  Anything could happen that night as the effects of this bad weather could have a real impact on the game.

Speaking of Rocky River, they won their District with a victory over Holy Name.  Unfortunately, their reward is a date against Walsh Jesuit which just may be the best girls soccer team in the state.  Once again, anything can happen as weather may play havoc with this game.

Soccer Site of the Week:
This week we will feature the Brecksville girls soccer team website as they do a nice job with their site.  It may be found at:

It is interesting to note that we were one of only three conference teams to score a goal on them this past season.

Happy Halloween:
Everyone have a scary but safe Halloween and soccer players go easy on the candy!
